Crane Mountain Gaming respects your privacy. In fact, respect for your privacy and your attention is a design principle baked into the business.

What We Collect

We collect information solely for the purposes of providing and improving our products and services. The info we collect falls into two categories: personally identifiable information (e.g. name, email address) and non-personally identifiable information (e.g. the browser you're using, what website you linked to us from). Let's call these PII and NPI, to keep it simple.

We do not collect any PII on children under the age of 13 knowingly. If your child has provided us with PII, hit us up at privacy@cranemountaingaming.com and we will verify and delete it for you, if found.

How We Collect It

Voluntary - Information you provide to us voluntarily will be kept and used to do whatever it is you wanted us to do. For example, if you Contact Us, the info you provide is saved so that we can, you know, Contact You Back. Information you provide during a merchandise transaction is saved so that we can complete the transaction and get you what you ordered. We don't cross the streams: purchasing a product will not add you to a newsletter, for example, unless you explicitly ask us to sign you up.

Automatic - anonymous, NPI info is collected to help us improve our website and products. This includes things like web browser version, screen size and primary language. We do not track your activities, and aren't even interested in what you do, on other websites. The only exception is "referring URL"--this means that when you come to our website by clicking a link on another website, we note what website you linked from. This lets us tell if social media campaigns, advertisements, et al are worth the time/money we spend on them. This information is anonymous and NPI--we don't know it was you, specifically, who found us via the Tardigrades Gone Wild subreddit.

Third Party - We do not purchase or collect information from third party sources, unless shared with us intentionally by you. For example, we will not go to your Facebook page and look up your hobbies. We will, however, add you to our mailing list if you tag us in a Facebook post requesting we do so.

How We Share It

We don't share information (PII or NPI) collected via the website. We sell games, not email addresses.

California Residents

If you are a resident of California, it is your right to request a summary of the Personal Information we share with affiliates and third parties. It will be a very short summary--we do not share your information with affiliates or third parties. If you would like it in writing, hit us up at privacy@cranemountaingaming.com.
